Meet Our Sales Development Representative
Maria Pirrami joined the IT Insights team as a Sales Development Representative. She serves as a first point of contact for new clients looking to make improvements to their IT situation, and who are looking for a partner who will help them elevate their organizational health through better IT systems. We sat down with Maria and asked her a few questions we thought our clients and partners would like to know:
Q: How did you get to where you are today in your career?
A: I would have to say that over the years I’ve been lucky to have had multiple great mentors. With each one having played a pivotal part in both my personal and professional growth, from coaches on the field to teachers in the classroom, to colleagues in the office.
Q: What do you prefer to work on?
A: I really enjoy getting to talk to new people and learn about their businesses.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: In my free time, I tend to my menagerie consisting of 3 dogs and a cat that thinks she runs the show. When I’m not sweeping up pet hair, I also enjoy camping, fishing, and learning how to garden.
Q: What advice would you give to someone getting started in your field?
A: My advice is to stay curious and never stop learning.
Q: What advice would you give to businesses who need IT support?
A: The first thing that comes to mind is the saying, “you can’t see the forest for the trees.” If you even think you might need IT Support, don’t be afraid to ask questions and explore your options.
