A Note from Christopher
2025 is well underway, and we have plenty to be excited about. With new clients, a broader security stack, and a renewed commitment to service excellence, there’s a lot of positive momentum here at IT Insights. We’re grateful to have you as part of this journey and are focused on ensuring you benefit from the improvements we’re making.
Our goal has always been to meet — and exceed —the needs and expectations of our clients. When considering internal changes, our first question is always: How does this benefit our clients?
Investing in Our Team
One significant change this year is a company-supported (and required) professional development initiative for all staff. We are now dedicating time each week for team members to pursue training, earn new certifications, or deepen their expertise in a specific area.
This initiative empowers our team to grow continuously so they can better support you. Each team member is encouraged to choose a topic that aligns with their interests and professional goals, ensuring relevant and meaningful development that translates to improved service.
Your Feedback Matters
We always welcome your input on our services, team, and your overall experience. There are several simple ways to share feedback:
Looking Ahead
Can you believe 2025 is already 25% complete? We are looking forward to many big changes ahead. In the newsletter, you’ll also learn more about our new sibling organization, GRC Insights, which expands our ability to support your governance, risk, and compliance needs.
Thank you for your continued partnership. We look forward to helping you reach your goals through smarter technology and stronger support.
Best,
Christopher Bierasinski

Windows 10 End of Life
Windows 10 was first released in July 2015. After nearly a decade, Microsoft will officially end support for this operating system in October 2025, transitioning fully to Windows 11 as its primary platform. This date is critical for any organizations still operating devices on Windows 10.
What “End of Life” Means
When an operating system reaches “End of Life,” Microsoft stops providing updates—including crucial security patches. Without these updates, systems become increasingly vulnerable to exploitation and cyberattacks.
Because of this risk, IT Insights will be migrating all supported PCs from Windows 10 to Windows 11 prior to the October 2025 deadline. Continuing to use an unsupported operating system poses an unnecessary and unacceptable security threat.
Our Upgrade Strategy
To manage this transition smoothly, we’ve implemented a two-part approach:
- System Inventory and Compatibility Review: We’ve completed an internal audit to identify all Windows 10 PCs currently in use across our clients. This audit also determines whether each PC is eligible for an upgrade to Windows 11 or whether it fails to meet the hardware requirements.
- Planning and Replacement: Your account manager will review this information with you—highlighting which devices can be upgraded as-is and which must be replaced. From there, we’ll work with you to create a timeline and plan for replacing non-compliant devices before the October 2025 deadline to ensure your organization stays protected.
Staying Secure
This upgrade initiative is a baseline security requirement. Replacing or upgrading devices still running Windows 10 is essential to maintaining modern cybersecurity standards and protecting your systems from emerging threats.
If you have any questions about this process or your specific devices, please reach out to your Account Manager directly. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
