Employee of the Month

Meet Harry and Marv, our December Employees of the Month!

Inspired by Home Alone’s “Wet Bandits”, these two mischievous brothers have lived up to their namesake, keeping their foster parents on their toes throughout the holiday season. They love exploring, especially in tight places (under the couch, around the deck, in between pillows), and spend a lot of their energy wrestling with each other and their foster-home dog mama. When they’re not busy getting into trouble, Harry and Marv enjoy letting their voices be heard at the commencement of their long-awaited mealtimes three times a day, which is soon followed by a cuddly nap. While they may not be IT Insights’ most productive employees, they make up with their spunk and good looks.

Oakley, November employee of the month

Meet Oakley, our November Employee of the Month!

Oakley is a rescue pit-mix and Rochester native, found living on an abandoned roof. At only 3 years old, she acts rather mature for her age. A perfect day for Oakley would be cuddling with her humans, laying in front of the fireplace, or of course, visiting Grandma’s house. She always looks forward to nightly walks, roughhousing with her sister Stella, and eating pup-cups from local ice cream shops. She is a great addition to the IT Insights team!

October Employee of the Month

Like the calm currents of the Genesee River she was named after, Genny’s mellow disposition and striking features have made her a favorite among the locals she’s met. When she’s not working hard to chew sticks and grow bones (aka nap), she supports business development efforts alongside her foster parents by generating conversation anywhere she goes. Lucky for Genny, her short-term contract with her foster parents recently ended after being hired as a full-time lap dog by a wonderful family. “Employee” of the Month: September

Meet Sadie, our September Employee of the Month! Sadie is a sweet yet spunky Australian Cattle Dog mix. After retiring as a stray from the streets of Houston and finding her home in Rochester, Sadie’s days are filled with local hikes, snowy adventures, and the occasional garbage plate. She’s a fast learner and quickly earned her role as grounds maintenance and cleaning expert. In between chasing squirrels and greeting (aka barking at) passersby, her food motivation keeps her work ethic sharp and the floors clean of crumbs. In her free time, Sadie regularly acts as a mentor to other pups her parents foster. To see about adopting one of her friends from New2U Rescue, check out the adoption page and see who is available.

“Employee” of the Month: August

Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month, Autumn! As a marketer and social media manager for IT Insights, this one-year-old Frenchie is a pro at connecting to and engaging with her audience. Her older sister Martini (May 2021 Employee of the Month) claims Autumn is a bit bossy, but does admit Autumn knows how to get what she wants. When she’s not working to capture the attention of her clients, she’s busy demanding cuddles and recognition (like this award), snoring loudly during long naps, or eating anything and everything she shouldn’t. Congratulations, Autumn!

IT Insights is happy to award the July Employee of the Month to Daisy! After being discovered as a stray kitten and brought into her new home, Daisy has focused her energy on window sill sitting, toy chasing, and scowling. While Daisy’s direct report Sushi (June Employee of the Month) states that she can be a tough manager, she does concede that Daisy always hits her targets and reaches her goals. Daisy wanted to leave us with a quote from Bob Barker, “Help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered.” It’s the best way to prevent pet homelessness!

“Employee” of the Month: June

This month’s Employee of the Month is our very own Sushi – a 12-year-old ball of fluff. Her interests include napping, being brushed, and sitting on laps. She is also very passionate about treats. As an intern on the Sales team for IT Insights, she keeps everyone working to the rhythm of her aggressive purring. Although she was born in a barn, she has really grown into a cosmopolitan lady. Congrats Sushi!

Meet Maximus, our May Employee of the Month! Max is an 8-year-old German Shepard mix. Unlike his mom, Max gets very bored crunching numbers and tends to sleep on the job. His main profession is protecting his two little humans who repay him often by dropping their extra food on the floor. Nothing makes Max happier then sunbathing on a beautiful summer day which gives him a good view to all the squirrels, birds, and bunnies that he loves to chase. Keep up the good work, Max!

Say hello to our April Employee of the Month!

Zuzu (aka Pickle, aka Poodle Noodle) is a 6-year-old dilute calico like her littermate and February’s Employee of the Month, Dora. Zuzu recently joined Jonathan Pinto’s team after a cross-country move. She’s settled right in and has taken on a supervisory role – she particularly loves curling up under the desk during the workday.

“Employee” of the Month: March

A hearty congratulations to Tomas for winning this month’s Employee of the Month award! Tomas is 15 years old. He works part-time on Jonathan Pinto’s team, which frees up his afternoons for naps. He lives for life’s most precious moments – a cool sink on a hot day, an unprotected pan of barbecue chicken left out to cool, and forcing his human colleagues to carry him around like a baby doll. 

Well deserved Tomas!
